IMPSA’s Industrial Plant

IMPSA’s industrial plant in the province of Mendoza (Argentina) manufactures key components for hydro projects, wind farms, nuclear power plants, and process equipment for the Oil & Gas industry. Located on a 28 hectare plot, it occupies 20,000 square meters of floor space divided in the following sectors: Cutting and Tracing, Structure and Welding, Machining, Synchronous Generators, Nuclear Room (assembly of nuclear components), Structures, Heat Treatment, and Sandblasting and Painting.

There is also a pressurized nuclear room for assembling nuclear components, and a designated nuclear bay where wind turbines are manufactured.

In the wind turbine bay there is a full assembly line for vacuum-pressure resin impregnation  of generators and a resin curing oven.

IMPSA has an efficient fleet of machine tools, which includes the one-of-a-kind Ingersoll machining center, a cutting-edge Pama milling machine, horizontal and vertical lathes, and a wide variety of equipment for the production of complex structures.
