By the end of February, Index and Capacity tests were conducted on turbines corresponding to Unit 1 and Unit 3 of Yacyretá Hydroelectric Power Station, which are currently operating. These tests were witnessed by EBY, Work Supervision and the Certifying Body staff to give official status to the results together with IMPSA’s specialists.
This is an important milestone since prototype tests enable to check the performance of already-installed turbine under future commercial operation conditions supplying energy to the National Interconnected System.
