KAPLAN Turbines

These turbines are specifically designed for plain rivers with large flow and low head and include full Kaplan turbines, characterized for their double-regulation vanes through moving blades, which enable to achieve general performance within a broad range of operation.

Propeller turbines have fixed vanes and a restricted range of operation. Their bulb is suitable for low head (up to 20 meters) and large flow.
