The 5th edition of the Hydraulic Generation Technology Seminar was held, organized jointly by IMPSA and the Faculty of Engineering of UNCUYO.
The event brought together specialists, technicians, and professionals from Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay to analyze the challenges and opportunities posed by the modernization of Argentine hydroelectric power plants, within the framework of renewing concessions for the national generation.
Over three days, topics related to turbine and generator design, fault diagnostics, predictive maintenance, and life extension strategies for the facilities were addressed.
IMPSA is the only company from Argentina with the capacity to design and manufacture the complete hydroelectric generation chain, from engineering and testing to the provision of equipment and field services. The company has incorporated systems based on artificial intelligence to optimize the performance and availability of the power plants.
