As part of the commemoration of International Women’s Day, the Ministry of Economy and Energy organized an activity for women from Mendoza, where their role in the workplace was highlighted.

The meeting took place with the participation of Carolina Castro, the first woman to be a member of the Executive Committee of the Argentine Industrial Union (UIA); Giselle Cohen, IMPSA Public Affairs and Communication Manager; Laura Valles, co-founder of the Equity Network for the economic autonomy of women; Mariana Barrera, President of the SIG work cooperative; Lorena Meschini, Provincial Director of Social Economy, and Emilce Vega Espinoza, Territorial Director of Employment and Training.
