IMPSA participated in the 70th General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), where it held bilateral meetings with representatives from different countries to present its capabilities and experience in developing solutions for the nuclear industry and strengthen ties with strategic stakeholders in the sector.
Within this framework, Rafael Grossi, Director General of the IAEA, received representatives from Argentina’s nuclear sector, including IMPSA’s Commercial Director, Mario Croce. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the capabilities of Argentina’s national nuclear industry and IMPSA’s role within its value chain, as well as its contribution to the sector’s technological development.
During the meeting, IMPSA presented its experience as a manufacturer of equipment for the dry storage of spent nuclear fuel, as well as its engineering and manufacturing capabilities and technological contribution to the development of small modular reactors (SMRs).
The company’s capabilities in the manufacturing of components and equipment for the transportation and storage of radioactive materials were also highlighted, along with other solutions related to the nuclear industry.
Participation in the Conference also provided an opportunity to highlight the joint efforts with Secretary of Nuclear Affairs Federico Ramos Napoli and the Argentine delegation, with the aim of showcasing to the world the capabilities and expertise developed by Argentina’s national nuclear sector, creating new opportunities for cooperation, and contributing to the expansion of Argentina’s nuclear industry.
