IMPSA signed a Framework Agreement with Energía Provincial Sociedad del Estado (EPSE) with the purpose of jointly developing and executing the Tocota Solar Photovoltaic Park, in San Juan.
It will address the synergic combination of clean energy and storage parks, totaling approximately 500 MW of installed capacity. For that, it will use capital goods with a high national content.
On the other hand, IMPSA will be in charge of the exploitation and operation of EPSE’s photovoltaic solar panel factory, which is expected to produce 71 MWp per year. Also, ICSA will develop a power, control and storage electronics factory in San Juan, which will be another of the factories in charge of supplying equipment with high national content.
The National Renewable Cluster was also presented, a public-private organization that will include the participation of San Juan, Mendoza, La Rioja, Catamarca, Río Negro and Neuquén, and its purpose is that the manufacture of equipment related to the generation of renewable electricity has a strong national production.
